ImageGlass Roadmap Update – 2026
I want to share what is next for ImageGlass and how the transition from version 9 to version 10 will happen, ensuring the community knows exactly what to expect.
1. ImageGlass 9 Enters Maintenance Mode
ImageGlass 9 is now in maintenance mode.
From this point forward, I will only release bug fixes for version 9. No new features will be added. The goal is stability. If you are happy with version 9, you can continue using it without concern. It will remain stable while ImageGlass 10 matures.
2. ImageGlass 10 Beta Phase
Beta releases of ImageGlass 10 will be available soon for early adopters. This is a major evolution of ImageGlass - not just an incremental update. The beta phase is where things are tested, refined, and improved based on real feedback.
If you enjoy testing early builds and shaping the direction of the app, I would truly appreciate your input.
3. ImageGlass 10 Official Release (GA)
When ImageGlass 10 reaches General Availability, I will continue to provide critical hotfixes for ImageGlass 9 for an additional 6 months.
This gives users and organizations enough time to evaluate and migrate without pressure.
4. End of Support for Version 9
6 months after ImageGlass 10 becomes generally available, ImageGlass 9 will officially reach end-of-life, no further public updates will be released after that point.
For organizations or users who require extended stability, paid support will remain available and will continue providing critical fixes beyond the public end-of-life.
🎢 Looking Ahead
ImageGlass 10 is more than just a version upgrade. It is a major leap forward - built on a stronger foundation, designed for better performance, and structured to grow in ways that were not possible before.
I will be sharing more details about version 10 soon, including the features and enhancements I have been working on. There is a lot to be excited about.
Stay tuned!
